Why am I here?
Before answering this question there are a few things we need to discuss. First of all, science has proven that nothing that appears to be solid really is. It is just vibrating energy. If you take a powerful enough instrument designed for viewing this phenomenon, you will see energy vibrating together at a common frequency. This is all that you are looking at when you see; a chair, a tree, the ocean, a rock and even a human being. So where is God in all of this? Everywhere. God can not be made or destroyed, has no beginning or end and is the light. Energy can not be made or destroyed, has no beginning or end and nobody knows how it gives light. Science knows the smaller they go within i.e. "atoms down to pure energy" the more power they get. What is more powerful than God? How many times have you heard God is within? Energy is the inner most part of an Atom. Yet a chair can be destroyed and people can die. At least it appears that way to the dreamer. More on "the dreamer" later. The truth is, this vibrating energy that manifests as a chair or whatever is very unstable. So it can not hold its shape for very long. And to energy (aka God) one year or a billion years is not long. In fact, God has no concept of time. Yet God is all knowing. That leaves the only logical answer to be that "time is an illusion", for God knows all that is real. God does not know time because time does not exist. Time is what man decided it to be A long time ago. So he/she could keep track of things. What things? The comings and goings of form, of physical matter. What I am saying is; "all that you are looking at is energy vibrating at a certain frequency that allows it to be visible". This does not make it real. It makes it temporarily visible. Including people. How do we know it is temporary? Because our leaders in science have proven that it is unstable. It can only hold itself together for a relatively short period of time. In humans we call it, "aging" (gerontology).
To summarize, nothing that you see is actually real but what it is made up of (energy or God, whichever pointer you prefer) is the only thing that is real. Holiness is hiding within every form you see. Everything. From whatever you dislike the most to whatever you cherish the most and everything in between. You need to know what "Here" is before you can fully understand "Why you are here".
The second thing we need to discuss before we can answer the question, "Why am I here?" is how we see what we see. The eyes do not see. The brain does. And it does it based on your past experiences. This is not true vision. Everything that you see is based off of your so-called past. If you look upon something as an adult for the first time, in an instant, your mind will find something in your past that is similar so that it can bring this new form into focus. This happens so quickly that it is seem-less. We call it "relating". If your brain can not find anything from your past to relate what I am saying to you now to, then you will not be able to see what I mean. Understand? And you will dismiss what I am saying. But sometimes we block our brain from seeing things (more detail on that in a different blog) that we choose not to see. So really, most human beings sight is just a perception in there head of there past. At birth, children do not see. Or do they? Well, any doctor worth his paycheck will tell you the mechanics of eyesight and what percentage is still not developed in a new-born which explains why their sight is not up and running, "online", at birth. Could it be possible that the reason new-born children can not see is because; 1) "they have no-past that they are aware of and 2) they feel whole? "Be like children", said Jesus. New-borns are not aware that they are a separate entity. Which actually makes them closer to real reality, but not fully aware of it. As their memory builds, their ability to see physical form comes into being. And they grow and have more memories and see more things. They grow into adults. They grow into you. Relying more on sight and feeling more separated, perhaps. Feeling so separated and alone that sometimes they ask themselves, "why am I here?" The problem is not the question itself. But problems do come if your solution to this question is in the form of, i.e. career/job, money, house, spouse. The answer to this age-old question is not in any form because forms are only relatively true at best and the question, "why am I here?" points to an ultimate truth. Ultimate truth can not be seen with your eyes or in your head because it is a totality. The brain was created to see in perspectives. It is unable to see from every possible angle/perspective at the same time. Some my say because this is impossible but it is not. It is only impossible for the unaware mind. What you can do is feel the totality, the ultimate truth. Through this feeling, real vision can come into your awareness. "God looked upon the world and saw it was good", says the Bible. Not because God looked upon the world thousands of years ago when it was good but because God looked upon the real world. Human eyes were created to see form and form in and of itself is not the real world but only a point of view. This is why "Do not judge" is one of the Ten Commandments. Before you judge you have infinite possibilities. As soon as you judge (make a decision) your possibilities collapse on the one you chose. This has been proven in Quantum Physics. But you never make the correct decision if you make your own decisions. When you make no decision and wait with a quiet still mind, an empty mind. God will make the correct decision for you. This is faith. To not judge a situation (to not make a decision) and wait in the stillness of your mind is actually making the decision to let "God" or the "One Energy" work things out for you. Which is a true decision in and of itself.
What I am saying is your perception of the world you see is not real. It is like a dream you dream when you go to sleep at night. "Why are you here?" To awaken within the dream and see the world that God spoke about when God said "The world is good". It is here now and it is peaceful and abundant for you. This is primary. Becoming a Movie Star, Pro Athlete, Doctor, School Teacher, Scientist, etc. are all secondary. Secondary vehicles that can be used to have communion with your brother. None of them are your true purpose for being here. They are inter-changeable. Your true primary purpose is changeless. Who is your brother? Literally, everyone.
Close your eyes while sitting down and take three deep breaths. Now ask yourself, "why am I here?". Do not search or try to answer this question. Just know that you are breathing in, then breathing out. Keep your mind on the knowing that you are breathing in and breathing out. Five minutes is good.
God bless you.
